What a mess up north. Incomparable institutional damage, for what, to save $12M on the coach’s buyout? 

Unless I’m missing something, that is exactly what happened in Ann Arbor. They wanted Sherrone Moore gone & when the Michigan Braintrust got together - they determined they could save 12million bucks if they fire him for cause (off the field) rather than performance (on the field).

Talk about an all-time backfire! The PR nightmare that blew up in their face is much more costly than Sherrone’s buyout would’ve been.
