Another incident happened this weekend involving a Georgia football player driving recklessly, although this time, it's worse than usual. From espn.com:
Georgia backup offensive lineman Nyier Daniels is facing more than a dozen criminal charges, including three felonies, after he allegedly attempted to flee from police in Commerce, Georgia, on Sunday.
Among the counts Daniels is facing are (1) second-degree cruelty to children (maybe kids were in the car when he drove away from the police?) and (2) attempting to elude a police officer. And it wouldn't be Georgia without additional counts of reckless driving and driving at maximum limits.
The redshirt frosh, backup OT Daniels was a top recruit coming out of Bergen H.S. in NJ. Without jumping to conclusions, I find it interesting that Ohio State did not offer Daniels, but the cheaters did. Ryan Day is building a first-class culture at Ohio State and that starts with recruiting evaluations.
