I'm a huge fan of the SEC just devouring itself and winding up in a big heap at the end of the year, but I was looking at the schedules, and I find this kind of insane...
Texas A&M (8-0): Remaining schedule: @mizzou/South Carolina/Samford/Texas
Alabama (7-1): Remaining schedule: LSU/OU/E Illinois/Auburn
Georgia (7-1): Remaining schedule: @MS State/Texas/Charlotte/GA Tech
Ole Miss (8-1): Remaining schedule: The Citadel/Florida/@MS State
We have upwards of 4 or so weeks left in the regular season, the SEC has 4 teams that are either undefeated or have 1 loss and somehow the schedules have worked out that NONE of them play each other over the last 4 weeks of the year.
Obviously I'm not pointing it to any conspiracy, the season plays out how it does, schedules be damned... But does that not seem insane to anyone else that these 4 teams somehow completely sideswipe each other down the stretch and there will be no possibility of any of these teams taking a shot to eliminate the others?
