Taking a look at games with playoff implications and who I’m rooting for as an Ohio State fan:
Northwestern @ #19 USC - A loss here eliminates USC from playoff contention, can NW end another teams season? No question I want the Wildcats to win.
#2 Indiana @ Penn State - of course rooting for Penn State here.
#5 Georgia @ Mississippi State - Ms State but I doubt they get it done playing Georgia and the SEC refs
#7 BYU @ #8 Texas Tech - rooting for Tech in a close game, a one loss BYU with a close loss to Texas Tech should keep them both ranked ahead of Notre Dame.
#9 Oregon @ #20 Iowa - Iowa can end the Ducks season this weekend, I hope they get it done.
#3 Texas A&M @ #22 Missouri - Rooting for Missouri but doubt they get it done with a true freshman QB making his first start.
Wake Forest @ #14 Virginia - Rooting for Virginia to keep winning and eventually pass other teams ahead of them in the rankings (Texas, Oklahoma, ND, Oregon).
California @ #15 Louisville - Rooting for Louisville for the same reason as Virginia.
LSU @ #4 Alabama - LSU easy
Navy @ #10 ND - I’ll be rooting against ND the rest of the season. One more loss erases the controversy of them being ranked top 10 in the first place.
Needless to say, also rooting for our other wins to keep winning their games.
