*****UPDATE*****
Most of us were way off. There were penalized with what amounts to a 20 million dollar fine, and Coach Moore getting a 3 game suspension, one of which will be served next year. There are suspensions of coaches/staff that are no longer with UM, and recruiting penalties: 25% reduction of onsite visits for 2025/2026 cycle, and no communication for a 14 week period with recruits for the next 4 years. Thato ne might hurt them. That's pretty much it.
*****END UPDATE*****
As you know Chase wrote an article that Michigan will be penalized on Friday for the cheating scandal. We also have our ongoing Cheater Scandal threads.
I think it would be interesting to see what you think about what those penalties are going to entail.
I'm thinking a 2 year bowl ban, a 1 year suspension for Moore, vacating most wins from 2022 and 2023, and forfeiting any games in which Michigan knowingly knew signals ahead of time as a result of the illegal scouting/filming.
Let's keep the subject to just prognosticating. We have our cheater thread and the 11W article to talk about other things. What do you think will happen?
