According to ESPN, former TCUN head-coach Jim Harbaugh and current TCUN athletic director Warde Manuel were added today to a class-action lawsuit against former TCUN offensive coordinator Matt Weiss, who is accused of hacking into the computer accounts of college athletes across the U.S. to look for intimate photos.

Attorneys are making the explosive claim that Harbaugh, Manuel, and other high-ranking TCUN officials knew that Matt Weiss had been viewing private student information on a computer in December 2022, and yet still allowed him to continue coaching as offensive coordinator in their CFP game against TCU roughly a week later.

Parker Stinar, the lead lawyer in the lawsuit, made the following statement regarding today's addition of Harbaugh and Weiss:

The university's delay in taking meaningful protective action until after a high-stakes game sends a clear message: Student welfare was secondary. Had Harbaugh implemented basic oversight of his staff, plaintiffs and the class would have been protected against predators such as Weiss. Instead, Weiss was a highly compensated asset that was promoted by and within the football program, from which position he was able to, and did, target female student athletes.

In addition to numerous lawsuits, Weiss is separately facing federal criminal charges alleging that he illicitly gained access to the social media, email, and cloud storage accounts of more than 2,000 college athletes, as well as more than 1,300 students or alumni from schools across the U.S., in order to obtain intimate pictures and videos.
