Nebraska AD Trev Alberts has announced the N-Vest program that will pay Cornhusker athletes $5,980 if they meet certain academic standards.  NU joins Wisconsin as the two BIG 10 schools with such a program.

Is see this as a possible recruiting equalizer for schools whose footprint does not offer much in the way of NIL opportunities like Lincoln and Madison.

Old school me likes anything that helps put the word "student" in the term "student athlete".  Do 11dubbers see TOSU starting such a program?
