After OSU, the Chanticleers are my boys. Their top-25 matchup with hated rival Liberty this weekend is in jeopardy as Covid is hitting the Flames. Liberty will announce tomorrow if they will play. A little awkward as College Gameday is heading to Conway, SC for the first time ever. Should Liberty pull the plug tomorrow, Coastal Carolina AD Matt Hogue is already working out the logistics to bring in BYU. Again, negotiating to bring a ranked team in from across the country on 2 days notice. Screwed up year for sure, but it also shows what you can accomplish when you have motivated people steering the ship. No excuses, no "we didn't have time to prepare," just "bring it on and we'll see what happens." Would be nice if a few B1G programs would sack up like these "little guys."
