The passing of the "Fair Pay to Play Act" yesterday, which will go into effect Jan. 1, 2023 if signed as expected will certainly change the playing field. Will other states follow? What will the NCAA do? The only sure thing as of today is that it will implement attorneys income. Soon to be 88, I doubt if it will affect me much; however, those of you younger gentlemen may well be seeing the end of college sports as it exists today.

[Mod edit: For those who don’t follow California legislation, a little background might help.
