1. Michigan(8th overall)- Finished first in the B1G and while they have by far the most players at 2 it is still a really good class. Zach Charbonnet a soon to be 5 star RB could be the first game changing back for Harbaugh. Dax Hill and Jalen Perry are really good in the secondary to close the gap and Dax Hill may start next year. They have had solid Oline play but this class could push them to elite. Trevor Keegan and Trente Jones are both really good OTs with solid interior lineman to be developed my Warriner. Chris Hinton and Mazi Smith are solid DTs that may be forced to play next year but they didn't really get a high level end missing on both Karlaftis and Zach Harrison. Whole lotta 3 stars that could develop into something good, advantage of signing 27, last year they only signed 20. https://247sports.com/college/michigan/Season/2019-Football/Commits/

2. Penn State(10th)- May be the best class not based on total. 5 star Brandon Smith is a bad dude at LB. A pair of talented RBs in Noah Cain and Devyn Ford follow a 5 star back from last year to give them a really good stable for the next few years. They also took 2 athletic DT QBs in Michael Johnson and Taquon Robinson, they need another QB after McSorley and convincing two 4 star level QBs to come in the same class is a huge win. Two really good interior lineman and a top 10 Juco player in OT Anthony Wiggan who could start next year. Overall solid class that isnt missing anything. https://247sports.com/college/penn-state/Season/2019-Football/Commits/

4. Nebraska(24th)- Hard not to love this for Nebraska. Got the last McCaffrey son as a DT QB. 3 6'7" OTs Wandale Robinson as the future back. Couple 4 stars in the front 7. The most glaring thing is how tall everybody is outside of the offensive skill players. Two 6'6" OTs are going to be moved inside. Every LB is 6'3" or bigger. 2 6'3" DBs and 2 6'2" DBs. The skill players for Frost's offense are all very fast. Great first full class for Frost and getting classes like this that put insane athletes on offense and huge burly dudes on defense to stop the run seems to be targeting Wisconsin specifically. This is the type of class that wins the west. Also interesting how national they went, 15 different states in a class with 23 kids.

5.Purdue(25th overall)-This may be the scariest. three 4 stars on defense. Karlaftis is a top 50 player who chose to stay home. They are the favorite to land David Bell and with Milton Wright they would be putting two 6'3" receivers outside with Rondale Moore over the middle. This class was put together with rumors he was going to leave all season, he could do even better now that he so publicly chose to stay.

6. Wisconsin(27th)-A top 100 QB is something they have been lacking, 5 star OT who I am sure will be a first rounder soon. Other than that a pretty standard Wisky class.

7 Michigan State(28th) Got a 5 star in Devontae Dobbs who has already mastered the disrespekt by saying OSU lied to him by saying he has a real chance to play his freshmen year. Out of 18 kids 3 can be found outside the state of Michigan or Ohio and those would be in Indiana and Illinois. Based on how MSU has performed of late Luke Fickell will look more and more attractive as MSU struggles along, don't see this class closing the gap.
