Michigan Suffering Beyond Wins and Losses

Someone asked how UM's recent run of ineptitude against The Ohio State University compares to the Cooper years.  Independent of the record of each team against the other, Michigan has had an uncanny string of embarrassment over this time that seems to make their struggles much greater than what the Buckeyes did in the 1990s.  Granted, losing repeatedly to your rival is bad enough, but in the Cooper era there was still abundant reasons to be proud of the Buckeyes.  Michigan has had to deal with the following: 

2007: 

This team was ranked #5 and full of talent.  Henne, Hart, Manningham, etc.  This will live on for decades as the biggest upset of all time in CFB.  This game single-handedly made the BTN successful.  

2008: 

Sorry for the lousy quality, but having the highlights from the local station makes it a bit more rich.  

The 2008 team also failed to reach a bowl game.  This happened again in 2009 when Michigan managed to make it through their MAC schedule unfazed, but finished 1-7 in the BIG 10. 

2012: 

If you type in JAD... into youtube's search bar this is the first thing that pops up.  That's a relatively ignoble honor. 

2013: 

“All I know at Michigan is failure,” Lewan said. “That’s all I know.”

2014: 

Yet another bowl-less season marked by losses to the B1G's newest expansion powerhouses Maryland and Rutgers.  Indiana, 1-7 in the B1G this year, was the only other team to lose to both newcomers. 

2016:

 

Possibly the single most improbable finish to a football game I've ever heard of.  The Auburn/Alabama kick-6 is up there, but that game didn't give us this guy.
