The Dream Crusher series features underdog Michigan State football teams upsetting higher-ranked Ohio State in 1974, 1998, 2013 and 2015.

The Spartans - after scUM - and more than any other B1G team, are Buckeye rivals.

The Spartans have done something scUM will never do: MSU defeated Ohio State for the B1G championship, in football (2013). That's a special distinction.

Another special distinction the Spartans hold, when scUM beats Sparty, we tend not to rejoice. It's easier to rejoice when Sparty beats scUM.

When scUM loses to us or someone else or just looks dUMb, Buckeye fans can shake their heads and mutter, "Pure Michigan." This is due to scUM's arrogance toward Buckeye fans.

But, Ohio State vs. Michigan State is more like...Pure Respect.
