The Arizona Cardinals select Marvin Harrison Jr. with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft.
Ohio St has had the field turf since 2004 and in Ohio stadium since 2007, also installing that irrigation system has made the playing surface fast, and not as slippery especially in less than ideal weather conditions.
My question is should it be mandatory that field turf be installed, especially with player safety being a very serious thing, I've noticed injuries happen less on field turf than natural grass.
The other reason is because when the weather gets bad grass gets torn up and looks ugly. Plus with Devin Bush being a douche and tearing up some of the MSU field before the game, it would prevent that from being a thing.
**OP update**
Being able to read helps, Ohio St installed field turf in the stadium in 2007 not 2004, field turf was installed at practice facilities in 2004. The post has been updated to correct this
