In honor of The Presidential Power Parlay, let's open up the 11W vault and pull from Warren G. Harding's blood money. This year, the power parlay is going to be controlled by you.

You read that correctly, the readers of Eleven Warriors are going to vote to determine how to wager the last of Ohio's most dangerous son's money. During the chaotic closing weeks of the preseason, I was able to sneak into the 11W basement and walk out with several wheel barrel loads of Warren G's cabbage. Shhh, we have $150,000 of Marion's finest's stash to play with.*

A third of our betting season is gone and we have lost $50,000. Last week, a face mask penalty wiped out Sean Nuernberger's made FG. Those missing three points also wiped out our $26,000 winnings. The bright side is Ohio State left Happy Valley with a victory. But our hero, Warren G. Harding would never settle for the bright side. He knew that the only thing that mattered was hard cash, hard liquor, hard drugs and easy ladies.

Five weeks in and we haven't had a pay day. Is it time for drastic measures? Not quite, but let's all make believe that we are Warren G. Before making your picks this week, get yourself in a Harding state of mind. You pick your pleasure, then make your selections once you are in a Marionaire frame of mind. 

What did W.G.H. teach us? Penn State didn't wreck our beloved Buckeyes' season, but the Nittany Lions stole money from our coffers. With another $10,000 lesson learned, it is time to move on to Week 6.

With our poor performances, we get to choose from less than marquee games this week. A perfect slate will pool in a cool $60,000 and put us on the plus side for the season.
