OK, technically they are not cheating, but I find it crazy that certain schools can do things that seem more serious than what other schools are doing, and get lesser punishments. And in this case, the NCAA is reducing what was already in place for the North Carolina football players who sold the shoes they were given. UNC is not playing UCF this weekend because of Hurricane Florence (but could potentially make it up). 

" ... although the suspensions have previously been commonly labeled as per-game, they are technically suspensions by the NCAA of 30 percent of the season. With a 12-game schedule, that is a four-game suspension. With an 11-game season, those suspensions are three-game suspensions." 

Guess it doesn't matter, because as ECU proved last weekend the UNC program is at rock bottom and Larry Fedora is all but gone, but I still find it frustrating that this program commits violation after violation and gets little punishment, yet OSU has one reporter write a bullshit blog and suddenly our coach is the most vile and hated man in the universe and is on suspension.
