Your Week 2 Parlay Picks
Ohio State (-35.5)
Nebraska (-4.5)
Alabama (-36.5)
A quick breakdown of the votes.
93.8 percent of you took Ohio State, Nebraska received 80.2 percent and Alabama came in at 93.7 percent. If those numbers are an indicator, we should be very happy with the results around 7:00 tonight.
In honor of The Presidential Power Parlay, let's open up the 11W vault and pull from Warren G. Harding's blood money. This year, the power parlay is going to be controlled by you.
You read that correctly, the readers of Eleven Warriors are going to vote to determine how to wager the last of Ohio's most dangerous son's money. During the chaotic closing weeks of the preseason, I was able to sneak into the 11W basement and walk out with several wheel barrel loads of Warren G's cabbage. Shhh, we have $150,000 of Marion's finest's stash to play with.*

We had the eyes of Marion's Finest shining down on us last week as we started off with consecutive wins. The $200,000 honey pot was within our grasp. Then, our fickle flame of hope was blown out by a khaki wearing blowhard. Harbaugh and his team of trash sunk our hopes of turning $10,000 into an easy $200,000. Goodbye lines of easy women and hard drugs. Hello self disdain.
What did W.G.H. teach us? Never put faith, or money, on that team from up north. Warren's remains are trembling in disappointment with us. With a $10,000 lesson learned, it is time to move on to Week 2.
Week 2 Power Parlay
To turn the tide, we are going to take a cue from Skyline, Ohio's finest diner, and play a three-way this week. It's time to hone in on your inner Harding and pick some winners.
Game 1: Rutgers at Ohio State (-35.5) |
Game 2: Colorado at Nebraska (-4.5) |
Game 3: Arkansas State at Alabama (-36.5) |
The Potential Winnings
If we are able to correctly pick the three winners, the $10,000 will bring in $59,579. Miss on one selection and the $10,000 goes away quicker than a line up Warren Gamaliel's nose.
