If Navy wins out thru their conference slate, they would align themselves for the Non-AQ NY6 slot (the same one Boise State earned last year to beat the Fighting RichRods). So, when the final CFP Poll is released, they could very well be sitting high on the hog. Or will they??? 

Apparently the CFP Committee is going to hold off on at least some bowl bids until after the Army Navy game on December 12. (And we thought waiting until Tuesday was bad.)  But, my question is this: Why does it matter if they lose to Army, if the committee is not going to produce another poll?

If Navy is the highest ranked Non-AQ team, then they're the highest ranked Non-AQ team. I think it's pretty bad to say "we'll give you a bowl bid if you win, but if you don't, then they get it."
