I've never heard of a death penalty given to an entire athletic department but this just might warrant one.  Also perhaps the University's accreditation should be revoked.  Or at the very least any and all departments involved with this should be shut down.

You are going to get into politics if you do that since it appears that this only or at least was dominated by the African American studies department.  Take that away and cries of racism will start to echo, but I don't know what else you can do.  At the very least, the entire department should be cleaned out and the new staff brought in should be forced to submit to outside audits to make sure that this doesnt happen/start up again.

Hell, I would go as far as to say every department in the school should be subject to this.  It sucks for the innocent but the schools academic reputation and maybe even it's future is at stake.

At the very least we should be able to say that UNC should never be allowed to join the B1G.
