Most fans are probably aware that TSUN has led the nation in average home attendance since roughly the beginning of time.

This year 2,500 new seats were added to Ohio Stadium while up north the fans are mired in a walking buffet table inspired apathy.

So what does that all mean for this year?

TSUN
2005: 110,915
2006: 110,026
2007: 110,264
2008: 108,571
2009: 108,933
2010: 111,828
2011: 112,179
2012: 112,252
2013: 111,592
2014: 105,757 (113,511; 102,824; 103,890; 102,926)

Ohio State
2005: 105,017
2006: 105,789
2007: 105,110
2008: 104,976
2009: 105,261
2010: 105,278
2011: 105,231
2012: 105,530
2013: 104,933
2014: 106,761 (107,517; 104,404; 108,362)

Granted it's still early in the season, but unless things improve in Ann Arbor; there's a very real possibility that Ohio State could lead the nation in home attendance in 2014.

The other potential contenders:
Tenn: 100,996 (102,455; 99,538)
PSU: 99,806 (97,354; 99,155; 102,910)
A&M: 92,236 (104,728; 103,867; 68,113 @ AT&T Stadium)
