One thing I've heard a lot to justify the lifting of the Penn St bowl ban is that it was somehow unfair to the current players that they should be punished for the past.

To me, this is total BS. When it all came out, players on the roster were given the opportunity to transfer without having to sit out a year and future players were free to choose whether or not to go to Penn St (Hackenberg chose Penn St even w/ the sanctions).

I actually get pissed when this topic comes up. I'm not kidding, if it were up to me I'd have completely shut that program down for 5 years. No football.

I'm curious what y'all have to say about this.
