Looking at it in hindsight, things have not worked out well for those who have departed. Hartline is still TBD, but Kelly and Knowles have ended up in worse spots than when they left OSU.

Knowes leaves for a few extra dollars then quickly gets run out of Happy Valley. He then starts his tenure at Tn by signing Coleman to be the star on defense. He gets medically disqualified. TN defense is going to have a lot of trouble this season.

Kelly leaves for Vegas, gets run out of town then ends up as a coordinator at Northwestern.

I have to feel that one or both wishes they had stayed put.  Moral of this story - the grass is not always greener elsewhere.
