Happy Bye Week!
3i/Atlas is traveling at an incredible 137,000 MPH. Proxima Centauri is the nearest star to our Sun (25 trillion miles). It would take 20,831 years to get to Earth at 137k MPH (25,000,000,000,000 / 137000 / 24 / 365). The Universe's size is incredible indeed.
Even at its closest point, 3i will never be visible to the naked eye, and will barely be visible with the best telescopes built by mankind, it is just too small and far away. It is 219 million miles from Earth today. Earth's orbit will bring it as close as 170 million miles, as 3i continues to move away from Earth's orbit day by day. 3i's location, as of today (below).

Earth is moving closer towards 3i/Atlas (think of it like a slow Safety taking a bad angle on a RB, as he heads away and towards the endzone). Earth moves around the Sun at 67,000 mph, less than half the speed 3i is moving at. On December 19th of this year, this (marked in blue X's below) will be its closest point. I am colorblind, so it could be purple X's lol. I just chose the color randomly.
