I am not much of a poster but have been around awhile and I thought I might bring up this discussion as I sure it is a subject that at least some have wrestled with at one time or another. I checked and did not see a thread on retirement. 

My goal was to retire early, maybe 60, but a divorce, child support and covid extended that  plan. I have always like my work, but not so much any more. 

So who has quit, been fired, laid off or retired early? How did  you handle health care? How did you handle Social Security and drawing income from investments?

What I more interested in what the hell did you do with your free time? I bike ride, hunt, BBQ and have home projects. I am not sure how long that will keep me occupied. 

What did you do? Did it work out? Are you glad you made your choices?
