The legendary guitarist passed away on Jan 10 2023 from complications of bacterial meningitis his family confirms. A pioneer of early british electric guitar Beck is best known for his work in The Yardbirds alongside fellow legend Jimmy Page as well as a lengthy solo career spanning rock, blues, and fusion. While his solo career didn't quite reach the heights of fellow Yardbird guitarists Clapton or Page he helped redefine the possibilities of guitar playing and influenced countless musicians after him.
