My wife and I currently reside in the Columbus Short North area but are growing tired of the lack of parking and overdevelopment. It’s an awesome area to visit but we both grew up on land and think that’s a better option for eventually raising a family.
We can live in most areas of Ohio as we both travel for work but would like to focus on the eastern half due to the beauty of the hills.
Where are your favorite small towns? Good schools are obviously important but we could sacrifice for something if it’s a little more rural and on a lake.
Some potential options are: Hudson, Zoar/Bolivar, Granville, and St. Clairsville. Granville and Hudson are more expensive with more to do and better schools but we could probably live very comfortably in Zoar or St. Clairsville. We figured we could always visit the city on weekends if we get the itch.
