Has There Ever Been a More Disruptive "sports Parent" Than Lavar Ball??

I know I know, I probably shouldn't bring any extra attention to someone like Lavar Ball, but I'm wondering if there are any other historical comparisons to a parent ruining the potential earnings vs. what Lavar Ball has done.....

Let's recap:

-Oldest son is a decent basketball player, played at UCLA and was the #2 pick in the NBA draft. Instead of taking a $10+million shoe deal with Adidas/Nike/whoever creates his own brand for his son with a starting price for the shoe of $495. This is a loss of millions of dollars, over shoes! (For reference Kevin Durant was #2 pick and made around $60 million on his first shoe deal - https://www.forbes.com/sites/kurtbadenhausen/2017/06/09/the-nbas-biggest-shoe-deals/#43dfc2271520)

-Second oldest was a freshman player at UCLA this year. Got into legal trouble in China (only piece I could find covered in 11W), got bailed out by the President. Within the last week Lavar pulled him out of UCLA, and is attempting to get him a job overseas playing basketball. Essentially, he cost his son a free education at UCLA as well as the slim margin of making the NBA (not as talented as Lonzo, better exposure in college vs overseas for marginal players).

-Third son has been pulled out of high school and signed with agent to play oversees as well, thus ending any college eligibility and the exposure you get playing in LA.

Any other examples of parents doing the complete opposite of a good job representing their kids' best interests? I suppose I can think of Jack Johnson with the Blue Jackets, and his parents taking a bunch of his money.... Crazy
