Direct TV has removed Toledo area Fox (channel 36 WUPW) from its lineup, due to a dispute of some sort (I'm sure it's $$$).  Has been going on for over a week.  Luckily it didn't affect the viewing of the OSU/Oklahoma game, but 2 days out from OSU/Maryland, I'm starting to get a little pissy.  Lot of OSU, Michigan, Michigan Stateand Notre Dame fans up here in Nortwest Ohio, and the dispute has already blacked out the Notre Dame vs Sparty game and a Michigan game.

i called Direct TV and voiced my displeasure of having 50 channels selling hair care products, exercise regimens, juices and vitamins, but yet they aren't providing one of the channels I really want, this time of year.  Fox has B1G football and if the Indians continue in the MLB playoffs, that will be affected, too.

so, if the dispute isn't resolved, soon (by Saturday 3:00pm est) I. Taking my Direct TV customership of 9 years somewhere else.  I don't know if I'm ready to cut the cord, altogether.  We live in the country so we are relegated to satellite provided cable TV.....our internet is through Verizon, and being 6 miles away from nearest cell tower, our internet signal strength cAn be weak, at times.

Not sure what to do, really.  I will be cancelling Direct TV Sat, if they don't have FOX back on line, so I'm looking for alternative ideas.  Anyone have advice or input?
