Google officially announced their 2017 smart phones today, along with several other products. As a Project Fi subscriber, I'm particularly excited to upgrade from my Nexus 5x (I skipped the original Pixel). While the Pixels aren't nearly as affordable as the Nexus line was, I've been very happy with Google's mobile plan so far and it's nice to see them bringing some high end phones into the fold.
I just pre-ordered the Pixel 2, and expect to get it late October. The XL was intriguing, but at the end of the day, I already feel uncomfortable with my phone in my pocket, so buying a larger phone seemed silly.
Anybody else making the upgrade or have opinions on the phablets vs 'normal' size phones?
