Since it's Memorial Day and we're all remembering the soldiers that have fought for us and our great country, I thought it would be a good time for everyone to think back about some of the great war movies that Hollywood has produced over the years. One of my all time favorites and movie that's kind of disappeared now is from 1953. A B/W movie called Stalag 17 starring William Holden, Don Taylor and Otto Preminger, who played Oberst von Scherbach, a straight out of central casting WW2 prison of war commandant. I won't give the movie away, but the tension builds through out the movie about a possible spy in the ranks of the American POW's giving the Germans tip offs as to what the American POWs were planning.
The trailer isn't the greatest, but I believe you can watch the whole movie on Youtube.
