English is weird. So many strange phrases and inconsistent rules make it a difficult language to learn. Some of us still haven't mastered it, and we were born and raised in the good old U.S. of A. I can't imagine what it is like for a non-native to learn English.
Anyway, even though it's Draft Day (Go Browns!), I'm bored and the Forum is dead, so I though this might give us something to pass the time until the Draft.
One of my favorite weird English phrases is "boneless buffalo wings". Imagine someone who is just learning the language coming across that on a restaurant menu.
Feel free to share your favorite idioms and idiosyncrasies of the language we've borrowed from our friends the Brits (It is said that we are two countries divided by a common language).
