Armchair fans; we've all been there at one point or another. We make outlandish predictions we think will come to fruition, with no basis other than your intuition. You think Bam Childress is the next coming of Terry Glenn, Mike D'Andrea the next Andy Katzenmoyer, etc. What have you, as an armchair Buckeye fan, been 100% confident in something or someone, only to find yourself be unequivocally wrong. Just as an aside, the inverse can be valid as well (perhaps you never expected Darron Lee to have the career he did).
I'll start with a couple. I thought Mickey Mitchell could have been a David Lighty sort of player for the basketball squad over the span of four years. I also believed Lamaar Thomas was going to an amazing all-purpose player, as well.
