Concussion-the movie. Does it tie in with players decisions?

Did a quick search but I havent seen a thread since its release. 1st off the movie itself is fantastic. Will Smith does such a great job portraying Dr. Omalu that you forget its Will Smith. How will this movie affect the game of football? I think we can look at this movie, the consequences of the game, and relate them to players decisions to leave college early.

Tyvis leaving early surprised many here. But should it? We know the coaching staff really pushes players to have life goals. Goals post football. Tyvis has the size, adequate speed and strength and we all know he has the attitude of a great teammate. We also think he is the next Herbie(love him or hate him, he is great at his job). So maybe declaring early is all part of their "life plan". Tyvis has his degree. Why risk another year in college. Maybe his plan is to give the NFL 4-6 years and move on to greater things.

The reality is, this team has been greatly effected by teammates head injuries. If they havent seen the movie, they are at least talking about it. Maybe a few of these guys need another year of college. But do they? When the average career in the NFL is what, 3-5 years? Does another year in college take that down to 2-4 years? Bottom line, it isnt our future we are discussing. They are given a life plan from coaches, advisors and family. We are only here to support it.
