Valkenrag hails from Tomaszow, Poland and originally got together for some studio work in 2006. They released their first demo, “Nordwind”, in 2008 and have been going strong ever since. They trod a lot of familiar ground with songs about Norse and pagan mythology and employ the standard growling vocals of death metal, but with a side of pierogis.
