If you're into authentic down-home Texas music, you'll want to check out my buddy Colin Gilmore at Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza in Worthington this Thursday.
Colin Gilmore - Colin Gilmore grew up in Lubbock, Texas. Like so many musicians and artists in the region before him, he used the desolate and open West Texas landscape as a blank canvas on which to create something truly unique; something straight from the spirit. His songwriting style has been shaped by influences like Buddy Holly, Tom Petty, The Pogues and Colin's own father, Jimmie Dale Gilmore.
Colin also has a couple of other upcoming sets in cities across the Buckeye Nation footprint:
Wednesday, Nov 18 - THE ARK - Ann Arbor, MI
Thursday, Nov 19 - NATALIE'S COAL FIRED PIZZA - Columbus, OH
Friday, Nov 20 - BREMEN TOWN BALLROOM - Millheim, PA
Saturday, Nov 21 - HILL COUNTRY BBQ - New York City
Monday, Nov 23 - HAPPY DOG (detroit ave) - Cleveland, OH
Tuesday, Nov 24 - SPACE - Evanston, IL
Although not a tOSU alum, here is some trivia: Colin went to college where Tom Herman got his first offensive coordinator gig. Everything has a Buckeye angle...
