Murphy received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in DC last night and took advantage of the opportunity to share a few laughs, highlighted by his impersonation of Bill Cosby.
It got me thinking last night and left me wondering where Eddie would/will fall in the Pantheon of American comedians and, more pointedly, did Murphy's focus on his acting/film career damage his standing as a premier stand-up comic?
