EC makes some fine bourbons, but their basic 12 yo 94 proof nectar is one of my all-time favorites. I still haven't progressed to the level of having a true bar space to stock, but when I do, I'll always have a bottle of EC on hand. All-around great, with or without ice (I usually prefer a small cube or two, but this one's smooth enough neat, despite the punch it packs).
