We honeymooned at The Excellence resort in Punta Cana last year and had an amazing time. For an all-inclusive it was very reasonably priced and well-accommodated. The only setback was the skeeters. Mosquitoes stalked my wife for most of the trip and the sprays only seemed to make them worse somehow. Other than the pesky bugs, I highly recommend this resort.
