The Tide rolled.

Alabama punched its ticket to the College Football Playoff Championship Game on Friday afternoon, blasting Notre Dame 31-14 in the Rose Bowl semifinal game.

The Crimson Tide were led by their stars on offense. Heisman Trophy finalist DeVonta Smith led the way with seven catches on seven targets for 130 yards and three touchdowns while fellow Heisman Trophy finalist Mac Jones went 25-for-30 passing for 297 yards and four touchdowns. Najee Harris was dominant on the ground, as well, rushing for 125 yards on 15 carries for an average of 8.3 yards per carry.

Defensively, Alabama held Notre Dame to 375 yards and allowed just one touchdown in the first 55 minutes of play as the Irish added a late garbage-time touchdown, making the score appear closer than the game felt.

With the win, Alabama advances to the Jan. 11 championship game and awaits the winner of Ohio State's matchup with Clemson.
