COVID cases are rising quickly, particularly in the Midwest, and Wisconsin had initially borne the brunt of positive cases in the Big Ten. Their week one opponent, Illinois, is now seeing much of the same.

Illinois will be without both quarterbacks who played in that opening game against the Badgers as they face Purdue this week. Hopefully the Big Ten can contain the spread of COVID going forward.
