As a fan of a stable program with an elite coach, I couldn't be enjoying this cycle of the coaching carousel that's been thrown into chaos by the specter of an early signing period.

The latest despot to fall is Jimbo Fisher, who is leaving Florida State on the eve of it playing a previously-cancelled match with Louisiana-Monroe in a vain attempt to preserve its bowl streak record.

As Tomahawk Nation first reported, Fisher absconded from Tallahassee for Texas A&M oil money without telling his players, who found out about it via social media.

Pete Thamel reports FSU's top two targets are Oregon's Willie Haggart and Virginia Tech's Justin Fuente.
