On August 3rd, Brady Hoke suspended sophomore wide receiver Csont'e York for "failure to meet team standards." Ann Arbor police later confirmed York was the subject of a police investigation.

Today, police released the video of the incident... and it's not very good for York

And yes, it was as bad as it looks. From MLive.com:

The video shows a crowd of people outside Scorekeepers Bar and Grille, 310 Maynard St., around 2:15 a.m. on July 18. The Ann Arbor Art Fair was going on at the time, and tents are visible in the street next to the sidewalk.

[...]

The victim appears to have not known the punch was coming. It knocked out a tooth and broke his jaw in three places, requiring it to be wired shut and necessitating the temporary use of a breathing tube, according to the police report, which was obtained along with the video via a Freedom of Information Act request.

And that, folks, is how quickly a college football career (and free college education) can go up in smoke.
