We last saw Frank Clark saying he was hoping to build Michigan football into something indesctructable — like the Titanic

But if Michigan is the Titanic, Michigan State has been a series of icebergs over the recent years.

The Spartans have won five of the last six contests against their "big brother," but it appears they still haven't done enough to get onto Frank Clark's radar above the likes of Indiana.

While Frank lauded Michigan State for "doing their job" last year in handing the Wolverines their biggest defeat of the season (a 29-6 man-handling in East Lansing), Clark had an explanation for it.

From Freep.com via r/CFB:

"Basically, against State, it's more of a personal thing against us. But it's not too personal (for us) because we look at it like it's just another game. That's how we're going to continue to look at it."

Well, it's like they say, Frank: If it's broken.... don't fix it.

He also spoke on the apparent demise of the "BEAT OHIO" sign in Michigan's locker room:

"I think they took the 'Beat Ohio' sign down. We've got iPads now, so they've got the countdown, the countdown to Appalachian State (in the opener)."

And what an epic rematch that will be.
