Michigan sent a "happy birthday" recruiting graphic to 2016 four-star CB Lavert Hill in October 2015. Hill signed with Michigan in February 2016.
Rutgers, who earlier this month countered against Michigan's satellite camp at New Jersey high school power Paramus Catholic with one of its own featuring Urban Meyer (and the rest of the high schools in New Jersey), liked the idea so much it used a similarly-styled one in a "Happy Birthday" recruiting graphic for three-star 2017 athlete C.J. Holmes.
Michigan is now, as they say, "aggrieved."
