Two losses did not do much to diminish Ohio State in the eyes of the pollsters. When both defeats come to teams ranked in the top 3, though, you tend to garner respect.

The Buckeyes fell three spots, to No. 13 in the AP Poll, and four spots, to 14th in the Coaches Poll. Indiana remained the top dog in the AP, while Duke surpassed the Hoosiers among the coaches, claiming the No. 1 ranking for the third time this season. The top-ranked team has lost five consecutive weeks.

Four teams received first-place votes in the AP, while the entire top 5 earned first-place recognition in the Coaches Poll.

The Big Ten Conference has five ranked teams in both polls, including three of the top 8.
