Ohio State safety (and former linebacker) Jermale Hines is headed to St Louis as the 27th pick of the 5th round, 158th overall in the 2011 NFL Draft.

Hines joins a safety corp that in 2010 included Darian Stewart, Craig Dahl, James Butler, and veteran Michael Lewis. Under former Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo's tutilege, Hines may have the chance to remind Missouri pro football fans of the sort of hits Adam Archuletta used to deliver during the early parts of his career. Hines also joins former Buckeye teammate James Laurinaitis in the 'Lou.

Stay tuned to see if and where fellow former Bucks Ross Homan, Dane Sanzenbacher, Brian Rolle, Devon Torrence, Bryant Browning, Justin Boren, Brandon Saine, and Dexter Larimore land.
