The Buckeyes, Evan Turner in particular, fared well in the 2010 Big Ten Network Awards show last night. After earning the Jesse Owens award as 2010 Big Ten Male Athlete of the Year earlier in the evening, The Villain captured the network's Breakout Performer Award for his 20.4 point/9.4 rebound per game season. Fittingly, Turner was part of another award as the Big Ten Tournament game against Michigan took home "Best Finish" due to his 40'-Wolverine-destroying-buzzer-beater. The de facto conference championship in football, Iowa's November visit to the Horseshoe, was named the Game of the Year, beating out a host of contenders, including Ohio State-Illinois in the Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament and the Robbie Hummel-Evan Turner duel in West Lafayette. -- More video goodness after the jump.
