I just heard Lee Corso go out on a limb and state that Troy Smith is the best big game quarterback that Ohio State has ever had. Somewhere out there, Kent Graham and Steve Bellisari are pissed. The Bucks have the edge in this one because of Smith, Tressel and the Shoe with the home fans going nuts. Not even some sort of karmic boost from the passing of Bo will help the Wolverines. I do think that Buckeye nation will do us proud by being unreasonably polite to Michigan fans and fully cooperating in the moment of silence for Bo.

I wish I could say that this would be an epic battle of the ages -- perhaps even an overtime thriller, but the Bucks win going away. Michigan has a tremendous defense, but I don't think they've seen the talent, speed and diversity that they will see today (sorry Ball State). The Vest will have something(s) up his sleeve that will throw the UM coaching staff off and the team will be prepared like they never have been before. Jim Tressel's teams are ALWAYS ready for big games and this one will be no different.

Enjoy the day Buckeye fan. It will be one for the ages.

OSU 31, UM 17
