i voted yes, but more than happy if this doesn't happen.  keep feeding hyde.

would be nice if devin smith would catch the easy ones from now on, too.

I voted yes because Braxton has his issue of handing the ball off during option plays but it would be really nice to see the staff force him to develop his passing game during what should be a "tune-up" game, though I said the same thing about Indiana...

Thinking about it, though - it was a slight tune up for the offense. If Smith would have made a couple more catches, there would have been as many points as Nebraska. I feel like Miller/Hyde will easily have 250-300 yards.

I guess you are right on that point, hopefully it is more Hyde/Rod Smith to avoid Miller getting hurt in a hopefully easier game.

I voted yes because Braxton is a superhuman who manages to make whatever he wants happen. I shall not doubt Braxton's ability to cut through defenses and make people miss.

If Purdue attempts to tackle Braxton the way they tried to tackle Montee Ball and Denard in the previous two outings, BM5 could easily rush for over 200 yards on Saturday...

I heard yesterday that Miller called one of his big running TDs.  He told the line they better block because he was going to take it to the house (or something like that).  Anyway, yes, I think Braxton needs to be free to run.  At the same time, I hope he makes some better decisions with the ball.

I know this poll wasn't about Devin Smith, but, good lord, that kids needs to stop dropping perfectly thrown balls...

I voted yes, but I'd much rather see Hyde go for 200.

I think they'll be excited for revenge this weekend.

This will be the game where they contain Braxton and hold him to under a 100 yards.

Which would be okay if Hyde runs all over 'em and Braxton can throw the ball effectively (and the receivers will catch the ball).  ;-)

I'd agree with you if this game were at Purdue. :(

Purdue's season is shot. Wisco and ttun ran all over them, I fully expect Brax to break off one of his patented 50-60 yd touchdown runs and break the century mark with ease. He's too good and now that El Guapo is hitting his stride, it's gonna be tough to stop the Bucks running game.

God damn that's a pretty f*cking good milkshake! I don't know if it's worth five dollars, but it's pretty f*cking good.

I think he goes over 150 just to prove he can do it whenever he wants.  They may stop him 9 out of 10 times, but look out on that 10th time!

Remember last year against Indiana we had 3 rushers go for 100yds?   I want that. Hyde, Braxton, and Rod Smith having the game of his life.  I'm not gonna hold my breath but man I'd love to see them just punish Purdue on the ground.  Really manhandle them.  Crush spirits-that sort of thing.

I know there's a game saturday, and my ass will be there.

Run almost every play.  Put up 350+ on the ground.  Braxton 150, Hyde 125, Smith 75.  Braxton goes like 8-10 for 200 yards and 3 TDs through the air b/c they finally hit on every wide open deep ball. Also the D, led by Spence, rushing like he wants to play every snap for the next 3 years, gets 2.5 sacks and they win 52-10.

I think Braxton has a big, big day on Saturday. With Purdue's struggles last week, I think that he may be in for another career day. On that note, I'm expecting another shootout on Saturday.

It's true... We really are a bunch of nuts!

Eleventy billion > 130.

Therefore, yes he will.

Take out the two nonconference games where it was obvious Miller was shackled by the staff and his average is 150+. So yes, I think he'll get over 130 and probably over 150 with the way Purdue's defense has been playing as of late.

That reminds me, I want to say that some announcer during the IU game pointed out the two sub 100 yard days Miller had and said that he'd been held  under 100 yards by the other team. Um, no they didn't. The OSU staff held Miller under 100 yards on those days.

I say no because I have a gut feeling El Guapo and The Lightning Rod will both combine for over 300 yards on the ground.

I'm hoping this will end up being his first 200-200 game, though it might be a bit unlikely with the way Carlos Hyde has been playing.

Miller will total 135 on two of his carries and inexplicably fall on his tush a few times as well.
