Much has happened since Ohio State last played a football game.

Michigan State defeated Iowa for the Big Ten Championship, hardly any chaos ensued on championship weekend, the Buckeyes fell one spot to No. 7 in the rankings and received a bid to the Fiesta Bowl, and a pair of defensive tackles saw their status for the final game of 2015 take a turn for the worse.

Senior Adolphus Washington is suspended for the matchup with No. 8 Notre Dame New Year's Day after being cited for solicitation late Dec. 9. Fellow senior Tommy Schutt is battling a foot injury suffered in bowl practice. His status for the game is in question.

As a result, there were a few changes to the team's latest depth chart (likely the final edition of 2015), released Monday, though Ohio State's version says it is as of last Wednesday.

The Buckeyes and Fighting Irish are scheduled for a 1 p.m. kickoff Jan. 1 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Notes:

  • With Washington suspended, he is naturally absent from the depth chart. Sophomores Donovan Munger, Tracy Sprinkle and Michael Hill are now co-starters at one defensive tackle spot.
  • At the other, Schutt, Hill and Joel Hale remain listed as co-starters. It has been that way for the latter half of the season, once Schutt returned from his wrist injury.
  • Urban Meyer told the media last week the team is relatively healthy outside of Schutt, so the lone adjustment on the depth chart from the Michigan game is at defensive tackle.
