When Ed Warinner earned his promotion after Tom Herman's departure, one of the first questions raised was if Warinner—still offensive line coach—would coach from the box or stay on the sideline.

For the first 11 games of Ohio State's season, Warinner remained on the sidelines like he had always done. But after the home loss to Michigan State, Urban Meyer evaluated all aspects of the team's stagnant offense.

The next game, The Game, Ohio State rolled to 502 yards of offense in rout in Ann Arbor.

Warinner's move to the box wasn't the only reason for Ohio State's performance, but it played enough of a part to where Meyer says Warinner will remain in the box (for only the second time in his OSU career) against Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl:

It's doubtful this move will draw many doubters in Columbus.
